London Craft Week presents Secret Ceramics
Christie’s
8 King Street, SW1Y 6QT
12–16 May, 9am – 5pm
We are delighted to announce that London Craft Week are once again fundraising for FiredUp4 with the second edition of Secret Ceramics, held for the first time at the prestigious Christie’s London.
This exciting exhibition features over 100 unique ceramic vessels by both renowned and emerging artists, all available for sale anonymously. As the names suggest, the artist’s identity will only be revealed after purchase and visitors have the chance to acquire works, at a fixed price, from the likes of Claudia Rankin, Hitomi Hosono, Bouke de Vries, Freya Bramble Carter, Kate Malone, Gregory Tingay and Sophie Wilson, just to name a few.
Last year, LCW proudly achieved its goal and proceeds funded a FiredUp4 ceramic studio at WEST Youth Zone, White City. This year, funds will cover the annual running costs of all four FiredUp4 studios in London — WEST, Barking & Dagenham and Croydon and Barnet— giving young people from disadvantaged backgrounds access to the transformative power of clay.
We are deeply grateful for the continued support of London Craft Week and all those who participate in this charitable initiative. Your involvement is helping to create lasting change and empower young people through the power of clay.
Join us for this incredible event and help us continue to make a difference in the lives of young people. More information can be found on the London Craft Week website.
