OnSide is a national charity that believes all young people should have the opportunity to discover their passion and their purpose.

The charity raises funds to build state-of-the-art, multimillion-pound Youth Zones in the country’s most economically disadvantaged areas.

Youth Zones are purpose-built spaces fizzing with energy and crammed with incredible facilities. These youth centres, otherwise known as Youth Zones, provide local young people aged between 8 and 19, or up to 25 with a disability, affordable access to high-quality sports, arts, and leisure facilities and activities, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year. They are staffed by skilled and dedicated youth workers who truly believe in young people, helping them see what they can achieve and equipping them with the skills, confidence, and ambition to go for it.

OnSide has already supported over 50,000 young people who are members across the network of 14 Youth Zones in the UK. There are plans to expand the Network further over the coming years, with eight new Youth Zones currently at different stages of development.

Fired Up 4 fundraising has so far provided ceramic studios to eight Youth Zones, with the first two being installed in Chorley and Wigan and the next in Warrington and Barking and Dagenham. Our 2023 auction has raised funds for studios in Croydon, Blackburn with Darwin and Manchester.
